ABOUT LETTY G.
I\'m an experienced programme manager that is motivated by helping organisations to improve their efficiencies through the use of technology and process improvement. My background as a business analyst provides me with the expertise to assess business needs, using a range of techniques such as requirement elicitation, requirement analysis and business process mapping to identify innovative solutions that resolve business issues. Currently, I lead a team of process improvement analysts and project managers. Our sole mission is to reduce the time spent by staff on risk compliance and billing tasks. This is underpinned by the development and implementation of efficient processes, automation and the use of additional technologies such as workflow tools. I\'m open-minded, adaptable and get excited by a degree of uncertainty and ambiguity in my work. I keep a cool head and remain focused under pressure. I\'m seen as a trusted pair of hands and will handle any risks and blockers appropriately. I care about details and enjoy using my analytical mind to work out the components of complex tasks, opinions and ideas, to evaluate problems and find solutions. I have a knack for building relationships and collaborating with stakeholders across multiple functions/capabilities and levels of seniority to achieve a common goal. Over the last four years, I have chaired KPMG\'s Network of Women. I have overseen a range of events from personal development workshops and smaller networking sessions to large keynote speaker events that promote gender equality. I have also been involved with several other inclusion and diversity initiatives including being a reverse mentor. My most recent achievement in this role has been launching the pilot of Lean In circles across the firm. To date, we have almost 100 women participating who are finding real value in having a safe space to discuss their experiences and challenge each other to achieve their goals (personal and professional) every month. When I’m not on the job, I have a keen interest in the rum industry (yes the spirit 🥃). I would describe myself as a rum aficionado or just a rum geek. 🤓 My interests go beyond sipping the spirit. I love learning about the history, production methods and diversity of options available around the world. This passion has led to me meeting some great people from all over the world and becoming part of an international community. It has also increased my \"must visit\" list of holiday destinations!
