ABOUT LETIZIA COCCIANTELLI
Fashion designer focused in womenswear and PHD Research with experience in sustainable materials. Being born in Rome, I was always fascinated with the beauty of the City with its history and arts so I studied history of art and archeology (that showed me the incredible power of beauty) and I worked for several years at The Sapienza University in Rome as a PHd researcher and designer. During these years I focused on the female role during the centuries by analyzing and drawing the costumes and jewelleries discovered in Europe from the Roman period to the Renaissance time. Later on I signed up the for The Fashion Products Design Class at the Accademia del Lusso in Rome. There, I focused on fashion design, current trends and cool design hunting. During the Academic path, I have had the opportunity to collaborate with the costumists of the national Opera theater in Genoa for the ‘Clowns’ by Leoncavallo (October 2021), and to take part to the Fashion and Talent show at the Spanish Steps. In addition to this, I was selected by the Lazio Region for the Start-up Fashion Academy, a call for application dedicated to the best 20 profiles chosen among all the academies and fine art institutes of the Region. Thanks to this opportunity, I experimented the bioplastic materials and the creation of a capsule collection shown on Altaroma (July 2021).Softwares: 2D graphic programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Lightroom, Acrobat)
