Provides leadership for Delaware First Health compliance programs, policies and practices to ensure the organization complies with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements and accreditation standards. Provides strategic direction and advises on compliance program design, implementation and monitoring. Participates and contributes to the overall mission, vision and priorities, established by the Board of Directors, regarding health plan design and implementation. Development of operational improvements to ensure contractual compliance. Cultivates and promotes a mission driven culture of high-quality performance with a member focus. Responsible for the health plan\'s Fraud, Waste and Abuse programs and the Compliance and Ethics Hotline for reporting of privacy and compliance issues and suspected violations. Oversee the activities of Compliance and Privacy committee. Conduct annual evaluation of risk assessments and audit plans for the health plan. Provides leadership, compliance education and coaching to the leadership team and staff.
