What would you do if there were no tomorrow?\"The opportunity to witness the collapse of her former employer, Lehman Brothers, has moved Tien to make a decision that changes the rest of her life: spend every day doing what she loves - making positive changes.Tien is her best in the junction of marketing, analytics, and start-ups. She has a track record of helping early-staged start-ups establish and grow using analytics and nontraditional marketing platforms on social media. The background in traditional investment banking gave her the analytical thinking. The subsequent years in the completely unconventional start-up world in the US.In Singapore, the first six years saw Tien build trusted relationship with clients at HSBC and Lehman Brothers Asset Management. The most interesting thing to her, while working as a research analyst at a boutique firm, was she could satisfy her intellectual curiosity of how the financial market worked. But her most rewarding experience was to help a Singaporean entrepreneur raise fund to grow his farming business.In the US, since 2011, Tien has been directly involved in starting three start-ups from day 1 - Roadie, a crowd-shipping tech start-up; Perk-N-Pooch, a pet service retailer; and Wensor Beauty World, a beauty care storage & organization solutions designing firm. After 10 months, Roadie has secured $10m series-A funding and launched the MVP product in Feb 2015. In two years, Perk-N-Pooch has doubled its revenue and is planning to open the second store. Wensor is in the prototyping stage. She is also serving as a data analytic and social media marketing consultant for other three.Tien earned her MS degree from Georgia State University and her BBA from National University of Singapore.    Perk-N-Pooch is a fast-growing tech-enabled start-up in pet grooming services based out of Atlanta, GA. It is the first in Georgia to combine the concept of a dog wash with a coffee cafe. It was founded in Jan 2013 and has since had a tremendous growth - posive cash flow from month 11 and doubled revenue in the second year. It has tripled its original store size and is now on a good track to grow into a franchising model.Tien was one of the first founding employees from day 1- Conducted market research and established a strategic business plan - Researched market potential, conducted customer segmentation analysis, sales forecast, and break even analysis- Created and implemented Interactive Marketing Plans leveraging SEO & social media platforms that allows the company to achieve ROI of 300% in the second year.
