Leticia founded Alma Coffee, along with her husband Harry, on the idea of making Direct Trade coffee accessible to everyone. Alma may have been founded in 2018, but its story begins over 500 years ago in the remote mountains of Honduras. Leticia was literally born into the coffee industry; she is a 5th generation coffee farmer! Her dad, Al Lopez (also an Alma founder) was born and raised in coffee farms in Honduras and every year would take Leticia to visit the family coffee farms in Copan, Honduras! Today, Al & Leticia own over 200 acres in production of coffee farms in Honduras and have built a true model farm focused on improving lives, sustainable practices, and growing extraordinary coffee! Direct from their farms in Honduras, they import their green bean to their state of the art climate controlled warehouse in North Georgia, where all their coffee is expertly and freshly roasted daily!
