ABOUT LETICIA CERVANTES

As an industrial and systems engineer with over 12 years of experience with continuous process manufacturing systems, I have been a key player in transforming the organizational structure of the manufacturing floor of a Fortune 500 consumer product organization, dramatically increasing efficiency and decreasing losses.\"All organizations are perfectly designed to get the results they get.\"(David P. Hanna) I’m driven to improve results by improving organizational design, implementing systems methodologies, and leading teams of high-performing individuals to continue to improve themselves and grow. Having the right people in the right place and motivating them to do their best is crucial in order for systems to run efficiently.I lead by example and advocate for a more diverse and integrated environment where new ideas, opinions, and experiences can merge to create value. This has helped my company retain talented people and has earned me much respect, from operators on the shop floor to company executives, and my opinions are valued. I help in developing the company’s Compelling Business Need and the organization performance model (OPM) to improve the design of the organization. Some successes: Achieving record OEE for multiple projects (applying Vertical Start Up methodology) Leading team to best results in Safety, Quality, OEE, Waste, KPIs of the entire country Helping to create the basis for all systems and standards to make these results sustainable over time Selected to go to Brazil to learn a new methodology (IWS or TPM) and be the first to implement it in Mexico Achieved ZERO losses, ZERO complaints, and exceeded the goals of the plant in cost and deliveryI believe that with discipline and intelligence you can achieve almost anything.
