Manage the daily inbound workflow to meet service objectives which includes timely processing of inventory receipts and put away of inventory and replenishment of primary pick locations.• Manage the daily work of all materials handlers through the Replenishment Coordinator and ensures area assignments are given to the appropriate staff for all aspects of materials handling, including receiving, put away, replenishment and inventory consolidations.• Manage and prioritize the daily customer council and e-commerce orders through the utilization of the WMS Order Manager system to interpret and achieve service objectives and to ensure that orders are filled within 48 hours of the date the order was placed.• Monitor the productivity and quality mistakes of the Order Processors to maximize productivity and to ensure the timely and efficient processing of all orders. Initiate retraining or corrective action as warranted.• Uses discretion to reassign staff members as appropriate in order to achieve a balanced work flow and maximum productivity.• Oversee the temporary/contract distribution center staff. Responsible for recommending continued employment, separation, or other change in direct and other reports employment status.• Manage the opening and closing of the distribution center. Responsible for arming and disarming the Distribution Center security and fire alarm system and responding to alarm calls when contacted by the alarm monitoring company.• Interact closely with GSM Customer Service Manager, GSM Sales, and GSM Buying and Merchandising departments and collaborates with other GSUSA staff in the NJ Distribution Center in order to resolve issues and ensure the timely and accurate execution of DC processes.• Responsible for seeing that the daily carrier pick-ups are made, the appropriate documentation tendered for outbound truck orders and coordinates changes for carrier pickups with shipping companies when needed.
