Only interested in remote roles) I am a flexible full-stack engineer- the majority of my professional experience is in full stack with more backend focused development. I have worked in the field professionally for over three years, though I’ve been tinkering in the web space for over ten. Working on small (5-10) and mid (100+) sized remote teams exposed me to several different languages, stacks and methodologies. I have worked on monoliths in Ruby on Rails, micro services in Golang, client side experiences in ReactJS and iOS as well as data management in SQL and NoSQL databases. Before becoming an engineer, I spent three years in the financial field picking up transferable skills like managing direct reports, cross-team communication, project management / scaling and, more than anything, I acquired an understanding of the value a well-oiled team presents to any problem.
