Many professionals are making lifestyle choices to avoid commutes, to work as consultants or entrepreneurs, to create a fluid mix of work and personal.\"Coworking\" is the alternative to both working at the corporate office and working from home. I started OfficeXpats on Bainbridge Island with my partner to offer a flexible shared office environment, private meeting rooms, and business education opportunities that support community and collaboration. Our mission is to meet the community, technology, productivity, and conferencing needs of remote workers, independent consultants, and entrepreneurs. We are a 5-minute walk to most downtown Bainbridge businesses, and a 15-minute walk to the Seattle ferry. OfficeXpats was awarded the Bainbridge Chamber of Commerce \"Best Small Business\" for 2014.
