Many clients who have experienced trauma struggle with anxiety, depression, addiction, anger, codependency, or shame resulting from unresolved past experiences. They often feel stuck in their symptoms and have a difficult time recognizing emotions or noticing sensations in their body. I utilize an eclectic blend of emotion-focused, relational, interpersonal neurobiology, and attachment therapies to help clients recognize symptoms in their body, identify emotions, and work through distressing memories in a safe, nonjudgmental way - Core competencies: Biopsychosocial, mental health, & suicide risk assessments, problem-solving and crisis intervention, adaptability, social perceptiveness, psychoeducation, psychopharmacology terminology, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
