I am an experienced and passionate senior non-profit executive in community-building, arts and cultural and educational institutions, specifically in multi-cultural and diverse organizations. Committed to the principles of equity through education and community engagement, measurement-based decision making and inclusive, impactful leadership. I have presented in the areas of leadership through change, diversity/inclusion best practices, and effective informal education practices. Throughout my career, I have gained valuable experience in the successful merger of two large non-profit organizations, the planning and execution of a multi-million dollar capital campaign; and engaging various groups of stakeholders in the design and planning of a new cultural arts facility. I have administered the application and reporting requirements for 7-figure federal government grants and New Markets Tax Credits in addition to successfully lobbying for local and state funding.
