My role here consists of acting as a Project Engineer on a $250 million Hospital Expansion while two other projects happened at the same time, an Ambulatory Care Center and a Parking Garage. This project is a Title-61 job (Oklahoma Statute) and was bought out as a GMP. I joined the team in Aug 2020 during the Pre-Construction phase. We completed a Make Ready mini project before the expansion started. As the project develops, I currently manage with the help of a Project Manager the OFCI, Roadway & Parking, Roofing, Waterproofing, Fire Stopping, Masonry, Specialties, Final Clean, Landscaping, Site Concrete, & Expansion Joint scopes. I am assisting Project Managers on the Earthwork, Utilities, Glass/Metal Panel, Flooring, Terrazzo, Fire Suppression, & Electrical scopes. Some duties that come with this are reviewing submittals, weekly reports, creating agendas, taking minutes, helping with project reviews, writing RFIs, running Pre-Installs, helping update schedules, reviewing Trades Partners PayApps as well as create JE Dunn’s PayApp and getting pricing from Trade Partners on PCIs.
