ABOUT LESLIE PENDERGRAST

Leslie has a passion for continuous learning, self-development and having fun! Her energetic and logical approach to aligning the interests of talented people with business objectives has proven successful time after time.Leslie’s track record with helping technology companies scale for rapid growth is impressive: Most recently, Leslie was the Chief People Officer at Datalogix where she and her team developed strategies and practices in the areas of talent acquisition, talent development, culture and well-being, benefits, compensation, HR operations and workplace resources. She was carefully selected for this role to help the company scale through an IPO. Instead of going public, Datalogix sold to Oracle for over $1.2B. Previously, Leslie served as Chief People Officer at Sourcefire, where she and her team set the stage to grow this global brand from $70M in revenue and 280 employees to nearly $300M and 750 employees, ultimately leading to the company’s successful acquisition by Cisco for $2.7 billion. Prior to Sourcefire, she held an executive Human Resources role at Citrix where she spearheaded the company’s growth from a mere 80 employees to a $1B global enterprise with close to employees. Leslie has also held management positions at American Express and JCPenney. ​In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis, running, hiking, biking, yoga and all things active. A native of Fort Lauderdale, FL, she earned her B.A. from Florida Atlantic University and an M.B.A. from Nova Southeastern University.
