ABOUT LESLIE MONTGOMERY
As Vice President of Education at Green Building Alliance, I have the opportunity to constantly learn new things about a fascinating and exciting industry. I work with learners of all ages and backgrounds to nurture both supply and demand of the regional green building market. It’s my job to ensure that GBA\'s audience stays up to date on the evolving world of healthy and high-performing buildings and inspire them about what is possible. I oversee the team that develops, plans, and implements GBA’s education- and networking-related events as well as our workforce development efforts. I get to work with some of the industry\'s leading experts to deliver high-quality, informative programming and resources. I teach GBA\'s LEED Green Associate exam prep course and GPRO Operations & Maintenance training. I have also had the pleasure of nurturing several of GBA’s professional cohorts. It is a joy to lead a talented team that works every day to host meaningful and informative events, improve our organization’s social impact, and create green and healthy schools. I like learning about innovative green building projects in Pittsburgh and around the world, and like to connect and learn from professionals who work in green building, sustainability, environmental conservation, construction, community planning, affordable housing, higher education, and more!
