About Leslie Mayne

I am a woman who draws her strength from never forgetting her \"walk in the wilderness\" or the faithfulness of God. Determined to honor the loss of my Soldier son by serving other Soldiers who face the extraordinary challenges of post traumatic stress and traumatic brain injury. The vision I have is that every Soldier has the opportunity for healing and growth and to find the \"courage after fire\". Leading an organization like the Permission To Start Dreaming Foundation is my highest privilege and honor. Our mission, is to give Soldiers the resources they need to reclaim their lives after they shed their warrior clothes. Our goal is to provide financial support for those positive and life affirming alternative programs to help them become the men and women that God designed them to be.

   Responsible for foundation promotion, fundraising and community awareness with emphasis on creating meaningful and productive relationships with our military and law enforcement, first Responder communities to assist in addressing the needs of those who struggle with PTSD and TBI. Our foundation puts on four signature annual community events that help raise awareness and provide funding to help deliver the Warrior PATHH program to the PNW. Our foundation is proud to announce that we are part of the Gary Sinise Foundation Avalon Fund delivering thethe WP program monthly free of charge for combat veterans and first responders.(Progressive and alternative training for healing heroes.)
