Cochrane is a global international charitable organisation promoting evidence-based medicine. I was previously a member of the Cochrane group for infectious diseases at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine.With years of experience in both evidence synthesis and guideline development, I am now working for the Cochrane Central Executive Team. My role as an evidence synthesis development editor primarily involves two key responsibilities:1. aiding groups in developing priority systematic reviews that will influence policy;2. screening systematic review protocols and full manuscripts that have been referred to us by other groups for methodological issues.Alongside side this, in the immediate future I will be facilitating the structural changes within Cochrane with multiple groups in the UK coming to an end. Alongside my job role, I am undertaking a PhD (see below under \'Education\').
