I am or have been an instructor for the Hike Hike Baby, Sprouting and Budding Biologists, Outdoor Explorers, and Outdoor Adventure Club programs. Hike Hike Baby gets parents and their 0-24 month olds out hiking in Burnaby parks once a week. It is an opportunity for exercise, fresh air and connections with other parents of little ones. Sprouting and Budding Biologists and Outdoor Explorers is for 2-7 year olds to go on nature walks, sing, and make nature based crafts. The Outdoor Adventure Club is for 8-12 year olds and is a skill building program to learn how to build shelters, fires, shoot an arrow and paddle a canoe.

I am currently very engaged with and excited about supporting clients with their nature positive strategies and targets, alignment with the Taskforce for Nature-related Financial Disclosure (TNFD), synthesizing the best metrics for implementation and tracking, and determining how the private sector can help meet the global goal for nature. I am focused on implementing COP15 global biodiversity framework targets both professionally and personally, specifically targets 2, 3, 12 and 15. I enjoy working on projects that align with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) performance standards. I have worked on biodiversity habitat offsets under IFC as well as due diligence reviews. I have been participating in regulatory working groups and contributing to regulatory reviews in Canada. I volunteer at Copley Community Orchard.
