ABOUT LESLIE AMOAH

My career hasn’t followed the usual straight line and that’s what makes it meaningful!I began my journey at the University of Surrey, studying Accounting and Finance, with big dreams of following in the footsteps of my CEO role models. Life threw me a curveball when I was course terminated in my final year, missing the pass mark by just two points. It felt like failure. But that moment shaped me. Leaning on faith and resilience, I started over at the University of West London, repeated my second year, and graduated with a 2:1 in International Business and Management. That experience taught me a lesson I carry into every role: your path isn’t defined by setbacks, it’s defined by how you rise from them.Soon after, I entered the property and housing sector. From working at SilverDoor Apartments, to serving as the youngest panel member at One Housing, to frontline customer service and property management roles, I discovered where my purpose lies:Serving people – ensuring every resident feels supported, heard, and safe.Turning plans into reality – whether it’s safety initiatives or community improvements.Making an impact – because homes aren’t just buildings, they’re foundations for lives. Now, as a Homeownership Officer, I combine everything I’ve learned resilience, service, and a passion for housing to deliver a leasehold management service that goes beyond paperwork. I help create spaces where people feel comfortable to live well.If you’re in housing, property, or simply navigating your own career twists, I’d love to connect and share experiences.
