Howdy! 🤠My name\'s Lesli and I\'m currently a Business Planner on the Copilot Growth Strategy and Planning team. Before joining Microsoft, I embarked on an enriching path through various industries. As an intern, I gained invaluable experience in Finance, FinTech, Accounting, and Media & Entertainment. Noteworthy highlights from my internships include contributing as a Product Marketing Manager Intern at Microsoft, delving into sports marketing as an NYK Marketing Strategy Intern at MSG Sports, and exploring diverse media landscapes at Spark Foundry. I was a part of the Marketing Rotational Program at Microsoft where I\'ve had the opportunity to rotate across 2 different teams within the Marketing organization and gain valuable skills. In my first rotation, I was a Product Marketing Manager on the Sustainability Team. In my second rotation, I was a MarTech & Ops Manager for Xbox. However, my story extends beyond professional achievements. As a first-generation Mexican-American from a low-income background, I am deeply committed to fostering diversity and inclusion within the marketing and tech industries. I actively mentor aspiring professionals, advocate for STEM visibility, engage with non-profits, and play an active role within the Hispanic/Latinx Microsoft employee resource group. I\'m also a proud Baruch College alumna with a BBA in Marketing Management. I was an active student leader and mentor with organizations such as TEAM Baruch, Undergraduate Student Government, Financial Women’s Association, and Mexiculture at Baruch. Outside of work, I love travel, cafés, books, anime, hanging out with my dog, Pancho, and curating Spotify playlists.Together, let’s create a more inclusive and innovative future!
