ABOUT LESLEY WEBBER

Lesley Webber is a solicitor in Fieldfisher\'s property litigation group. An acknowledged leader in the rent review field and a specialist in contentious property law and practice, her clients include Nike, BMW, RREEF, Imperial College, Nomura, Department for Transport, Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy. She also has a distinguished track record in planning, including innovative agreements for London\'s Shard. In 2002 she was awarded the OBE and in 2007 she received an honorary membership of the RICS, both for services to the property industry. She is a Legal 500 leading individual where she is endorsed as \"a key name in the market for rent review cases and also highly regarded for her planning expertise\". Chambers Directory has described her as \"exceptionally talented\" and says she is recognised by clients for being \"very well respected within the industry\", one remarking \"I really like and value that rather than just giving you the answers because she\'s got a good insight into the industry, she actually assists in the settlement of cases\". Her public service record includes membership of the Government\'s Property Advisory Group from 1997 to 2003, as well as advising on amendments to the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 and co-author with Phillip Freedman of the PACT scheme for resolving lease renewal disputes. She is an Essex County Councillor (Brentwood Rural Division) and from 2011-12 she was Leader of Epping Forest District Council. She and her family are long standing season ticket holders of Watford FC.
