Perform inspections, surveys, and audits of existing spaces to confirm existing power requirements and to ensure that all designs are following national and local requirements. • Develop design packages and equipment specifications, providing technical oversight for new electrical systems, in accordance with applicable codes and industry standards. • Perform and review short circuit studies, coordination studies, and arc flash analysis for electrical projects. • Review shop drawings, perform site visits to verify that designs are being implemented accurately. • Participate in construction meetings with stakeholders to mitigate risks and coordinate electrical systems with other ongoing projects. • Generate one line diagrams and drawings, showing relation of proposed installation in existing or new facilities with exact specifications and dimensions. • Provide timely responses for electrical RFIs (Requests for Information) and review project related submittals to ensure electrical design intent is met.
