About Lesley Schwalje

In my current role, I lead over 100 talented engineers in our transportation, structures, water resources, transit, traffic and tolling PMC sections throughout four North Texas and Little Rock, Arkansas locations. In my previous roles, I grew our North Texas transportation department from approximately ten professionals to over thirty in just a few years and led the client focus on federal clients in the North Texas area. I am absolutely passionate about building diverse teams, mentoring young staff in their career growth and assisting with delivery of some of the most complex projects in the area.In my over 20 years of professional engineering experience, I’ve delivered and led a wide variety of civil engineering projects, including corridor and location studies, rural and urban highway design, roadway rehabilitation, intersection/interchange modifications, transit facilities, site design, Customs and Border Protection facilities, levee assessment and design, as well as becoming an expert on the USACE Section 408 process.PE License in Kansas and Texas.Precertified with TxDOT in 1.4.1, 1.5.1, 3.2.1 and 4.2.1
