ABOUT LESLEY KLAFF
I am a Senior Lecturer in Law at the Institute of Law and Justice, Sheffield Hallam University, where I teach law modules at undergraduate level and supervise PhD students. I am also an Affiliate Professor of Law at the University of Haifa in Israel and I taught in the United States as a Visiting Professor of Law for seven years. My research area is contemporary antisemitism. I am editor-in-chief of the Journal of Contemporary Antisemitism and I serve on the advisory board of the Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights under Law in Washington, D.C, a non-profit organisation that fights antisemitism on north American campuses by means of advocacy, scholarship and education. I also work for UK Lawyers for Israel, an NGO dedicated to using the law to oppose attempts to delegitimise Israel. My recent publications include “Holocaust Inversion,” Israel Studies (IUP) Vol. 24, No. 2, Summer 2019, Word Crimes: Reclaiming the Language of the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict; “Fraser v University and College Union: Anti-Zionism, Antisemitism, and Racializing Discourse” in Alvin H.
