About Leslee Bailey Tarbett Ed. D.
My work in literacy education is rooted in over a decade of PreK-2 classroom experience in public schools. Currently, I help prepare future educators while researching teacher professional development, instructional coaching, and teacher wellness using qualitative/postqualitative approaches and guided by an ethic of care. I am particularly interested in how teachers learn over time, how they are supported in their work, and how educational spaces can be designed to sustain both strong instruction and the people who carry it. Across my teaching and research, I am committed to relational, community-centered work that connects theory, practice, and lived experience.
