Over 35 years experience in the successful delivery of complex multi million dollar development and infrastructure projects, hands on project portfolio management, excellent written and oral communication skills and abilities. Self-starter and team player that enjoys working in and fast-paced yet collegial environment, with a strong commitment to deadlines and the team, being process and detail oriented with a high sense of ownership in my work, and possess a high degree of intellectual curiosity.In my roles as Office Manager, Principal Engineer and Project Director I have lead and developed highly motivated and effective teams of engineers, designers and support staff. Projects that I manage are typically multi-million dollar assignments and often require presentation to municipal councils. My leadership style is grounded in mentorship over coaching. Coaching is a transactional relationship, mentorship is leadership working side by side and WINNING TOGETHER!I possess a solid understanding of the planning and development process, municipal standards and Provincial Regulations. I rationalize and employ critical thinking in decision making. My credentials related to this position include a bachelor degree in Civil Engineering with a minor in Business Management / Financial Analysis; an advanced (Masters) degree; licensing as a Professional Civil Engineer in good standing since 1991; Project Management Institute Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. Acting as Owners Rep through the development process, a proven track record of successfully supporting and advancing development project initiatives through the extensive planning, approvals, project management, engineering and construction expertise.Proud to have served as a member of the Brant Community Healthcare System Board of Directors providing governance leadership and strategic guidance on hospital and community healthcare issues.
