ABOUT ROUX REDELINGHUYS

My professional career started in 2017 with PwC South Africa as an audit associate. Since then, I\'ve qualified as a chartered accountant, moved countries and companies, and continued to grow professionally. I\'m currently a Manager at Deloitte and hold a dual role in Audit and System of Quality Management. My dual role allows me to work with more people both external and internal to the firm. In my role as audit manager, I have the role of managing projects and team members, as well as communicating with external client. My feedback received for managing projects, teams and communicating with external stakeholders has always been positive. The nature of audit engagements ensure I remain adaptable, able to solve problems and updated on technical accounting changes. In the System of Quality management team, I\'m focused on identifying and evaluating risks within our firm and ensuring our internal controls operate effectively to address these risks. In this role I\'ve continued building professional relationships as I work alongside senior internal stakeholders. My reporting, thematic review memos and presentations are presented to the most senior stakeholders within the firm.
