ABOUT LERON SAMUEL
I recently completed my MS in Sports Management at Columbia University, where I served as Treasurer of the Asian Sports Business Club and worked as an Intramural Official. Through the program, I developed a strong foundation in sports marketing, sponsorship strategy and analytics, with a particular focus on how partnerships drive revenue and fan engagement for sports organizations.In the US sports industry, I have gained experience with organizations including New York Red Bulls, Hartford Athletic and Sports Sponsorships & Events Consulting (SSEC), supporting partnership activations, sponsor fulfillment and matchday fan experiences. These roles have strengthened my understanding of how brands and teams collaborate to create impactful activations and deliver value to partners.Originally from Mumbai, India, I began my sports business journey at JSW Sports, working on athlete endorsements and strategic projects involving leading Indian athletes including Neeraj Chopra, Axar Patel, Dhruv Jurel, Jemimah Rodrigues and Shafali Verma.I’m particularly interested in corporate partnerships and sponsorship strategy, and enjoy combining creative thinking with data driven insights to help brands and sports organizations build meaningful collaborations.
