As the San Diego Room to Read Chapter Leader, Leora open doors and cultivates strategic relationships with corporations, universities, individuals and other nonprofits that have expanded the reach and visibility of Room to Read and herself locally while at the same time maximizing San Diego\'s effects on our global education and gender equality programs. Philanthropy is in my DNA. After earning a business degree at SDSU, she joined the Computer Learning Foundation, where alongside Bill Gates, Sally Bowman and other industry leaders, they created and executed programs that effectively integrate computers into the curriculum throughout the United States and Canada. From early on she has been involved with the sales and marketing of new technologies and today she still love to stay abreast of the latest technology, trends and techniques including effective management of social media which she leverages when promoting Room to Read and other organizations she works with.
