As a licensed MLO, I grew my book of business through network development and relationship management, which included, planning and executing training seminars for referral partners and home buyers to drive sales growth and analyzing customer financial positions to structure and optimize their borrowing capabilities while leveraging strong communication skills and the ability to clearly explain complex product offerings. My clear understanding of the products and guidelines lead me to also serve as a Jr. Underwriter. While building my business, I also worked on the compliance side of the mortgage industry managing the initial loan application procedures and disclosures for all loans in the company, conducting Compliance testing to ensure all loans met state and federal guidelines and regulations, integrating new loan products and programs, as well as, educating sales and processing teams on loan policies and procedures through interactive company-wide presentations, and one-on-one counseling.
