With over a decade of experience across higher education, nonprofits, and corporate sectors, she is an energetic connector who develops creative strategies to inspire community engagement and build meaningful partnerships.Most recently, Paola strengthened philanthropic relationships in St. Petersburg with the St. Petersburg College Foundation, following her experience as Assistant Director of Development for the Chancellor’s Associates Scholarships at UC San Diego. Before that, she advanced volunteer management, digital campaigns, and fundraising strategies with United Way in San Diego and Miami, and began her career crafting integrated marketing solutions for national advertisers with Telemundo Network in Miami and NBCUniversal in New York City.A first-generation college graduate, Paola understands the transformative power of education. She was named one of “Volunteer Florida’s 30 Volunteers Under 30” for her work as a ReadingPals literacy volunteer and was active with MANA de San Diego’s Scholarship Committee and Hermanitas mentorship program.
