ABOUT LEONIE CLAYSON

My new role within Cognizant’s Global Messaging & Portfolio Marketing team is to manage sales enablement projects. Most recently I held the role of Community Manager for DesignSpark, a community of over 1 million electronic design engineers, providing a completely free ecosystem of design tools. As Community Manager, I project-managed multiple, cross-functional marketing and communications programmes to keep our members engaged, excited and in-the-know about emerging technologies and new products. Prior to this, I worked for The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (UK), initially as Assistant Editor of \'Logistics & Transport Focus\' in and Senior Editorial and Web Site Executive by 2004, then early in 2008 I moved across to The Institute of Operations Management – a membership body within CILT(UK). In my former role as Manager – IOM, I co-ordinated and project-managed all Institute activity across the organisation, arranging events and workshops, producing the IOM\'s monthly membership journal,\'Operations Management\', facilitating regional and special interest group activity. During my time at the Institute, I was instrumental in growing IOM\'s membership base, expanding training and development opportunities and income, and widening both geographically and in terms of the sectors served.
