About Leon Bukhman
Experienced and highly skilled utility management professional with a track record of leading complex projects and developing innovative solutions to improve company efficiency and effectiveness.Leon currently leads a team supporting the needs of energy market participants, including customers, solar developers, and ESCOs by developing use-cases and helping build New York State’s Integrated Energy Data Resource (IEDR). The team works with internal and external stakeholders to consolidate useful and actionable data that can inform energy decisions to improve the customer experience and meet our clean energy goals. In his previous roles, Leon oversaw the development and implementation of processes and technology which assist the Company in complying with regulatory requirements. He also managed the NERC compliance program in the System Operation department for the operation and maintenance of the Bulk Electric System. Prior to that, Leon held various supervisory roles in electric engineering and operations.Leon holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in Computer Science from New York University and maintains professional certifications in administration of GRC platforms and operation of the Bulk Electric System.Specialties: RSA Archer, NERC Compliance, Web Application Development (.Net), Server administration, Database administration, Electrical Distribution system design and modeling.
