I have been assigned to the Covid-19 Inquiry, where my responsibilities include utilising the Inquiry’s electronic document management system (EMS) to review documents submitted by Material Providers (MPs), such as other government departments or private companies.• I meticulously assess documents for relevance based on provided guidelines and consistently and accurately populate document descriptions and metadata coding requirements in the EMS.• I perform document redaction with precision, adhering to the Inquiry’s redaction protocols, including identifying and redacting personal data as defined by the Data Protection Act 1998.• I actively collaborate in regular paralegal team discussions, proactively raising concerns or queries. I assist Solicitor and Counsel teams from Burges Salmon LLP and Fieldfisher LLP before oral hearings, including preparing hearing bundles.• I attend the hearing centre and occasionally work beyond core hours prior to and during busy hearing periods in Northern Ireland, Wales, and England.• I ensure adherence to excellent information management practices at all times and execute RFC requests, including communicating on behalf of the Solicitors (using the Solicitors inbox) with the Material Providers and Witnesses.
