ABOUT LEONARDO METALLI

In 1990, Leonardo Metalli founded the National Young Journalists Association. Also in 1990, he worked at the Media Center of the World Cup Soccer matches, in the Press Offices of the Sanremo Music Festival, the International Exhibition for Television, and finally at the RAI European Song Contest. In 1994, he was hired at Radiocorriere, as a journalist in charge of writing about culture and entertainment, including the special sections and articles on singing competitions. In 1994, he was a commentator for the National Young Journalists Association on TV. In 1995, he was hired as a journalist in the Press Office of the RAI, where he was responsible for the promotion and development of cultural broadcasts. In mid-1997, he was hired by Giovanni Minoli to develop the Format project for RAI 3. From 1997 to he worked at TG2 at RAI, in the culture and international department. He also collaborated with Raisat and the online digital components of Rai. He hosts and is the MC of various events and is the author of several publications and books, and author of the song “URLO DELLA RETE”. He currently continues to work at RAI TV on Tg1 as Chief Editor of Tg1 Media & \"Tg1 Note” music news. He is the top promoter and supporter of free WiFi by Rai, the first step towards the liberalization of the connection to the Internet in Italy. He is Founder at Madforitaly.net, an internet media platform based in the USA, to export the Italian culture and Italian products in the first digital migration.
