A Chartered Engineer from the Institute of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) with 15+ years of experience in subsea engineering from FEED to detailed design and installation / pre-commissioning.Extensive experience in advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of subsea pipelines and structures.Hands-on experience with subsea rigid pipeline design, installation analysis and structural design accumulated along many opportunities working on complex projects located in different regions around the world (Africa, Brazil and Gulf of Mexico). Familiar with many design codes and standards, including ASME, API and DNV offshore codes.Offshore / Installation experience working as project engineer.Experience working as Design Manager of a major deepwater 20k system green field project in the Gulf of Mexico. Responsible to manage and provide technical guidance to a design team of more than 15 engineers of different areas (pipeline design, riser design, structures design and geotechnical design).Currently working at Repsol as SME of rigid pipelines and structures.    SME of subsea rigid pipelines and structures, providing support to Repsol\'s Block 29 development in Mexico- Responsible to provide technical support and review of deliverables from the FEED contractors and vendors covering subsea rigid pipelines, subsea structures, jumpers and spools (design, fabrication, welding, geotechnical design, installation and pre-commissioning)- Responsible to prepare technical and procurement specifications for the geotechnical and geophysical survey campaign, and to provide technical interface with the survey contractors- Manage FEED contractors ensuring alignment with project objectives, local regulation requirements and budget targets- Responsible to monitor and control the progress of the FEED contractors- Provide technical assurance, interface coordination, and risk assessment across SURF and SPS packages.
