ABOUT LEONARDO FAUSTO

Hello there! ‍🧫🧬In September 2022, I began my journey in Biotechnology at Conestoga College, where I completed my studies with high distinction and developed a strong appreciation for the transformative potential of Biotechnology to reshape the Health industry. I’m currently working in an analytical laboratory, gaining hands-on industry experience in quality-focused lab operations. In my role, I work across multiple departments performing pH and EC measurements, water and soil preparation, semi-volatile extractions, and detailed data documentation, while collaborating closely with colleagues to keep the workflow efficient. This environment has strengthened my attention to detail, adaptability, and respect for the importance of accuracy in scientific work.Through my academic and practical experiences, I’ve developed a genuine passion for microbiology and molecular biology, particularly the ways microorganisms can be studied, applied, and engineered to create nearly endless sustainable and high-quality products. From microbiology labs to fermentation-based experiments, I’ve enjoyed learning how small biological systems can drive meaningful outcomes.I’m motivated by environments that value curiosity, quality, and sustainability, and I’m always excited to keep learning, refining my skills, and contributing to science-driven teams doing impactful work.
