ABOUT LEONARDO BORJA

My name is Leonardo Borja, and I was born into a multicultural family with Salvadorian and German roots. I am fluent and trilingual and have citizenship in the USA, Germany, and El Salvador. I have been able to study in Switzerland for my last two years of high school and then moved to the U.S. to pursue my passion for finance and entrepreneurship. Currently at Babson College, I am pursuing a dual degree in Entrepreneurship and Finance. Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs, I developed a deep appreciation for business and investment strategies early on. My professional experiences range from private equity and hedge fund analysis in New York to business development and financial analysis in El Salvador, thus building a strong foundation in finance and strategic decision-making. Beyond academics and professional pursuits, I am a committed polo player. As part of the Babson Polo Team, I proudly say that we have been twice back-to-back champions in the USPA Intercollegiate National Championships. I am also the President of the Babson Polo Club, which develops teamwork and leadership in players. I thrive on meeting people from diverse backgrounds and exchanging ideas that drive innovation and impact. Whether in finance, entrepreneurship, or sports, I constantly seek new opportunities to grow and contribute.
