Business Enterprise and Big Data Architecture: Working with solution architects to model the current state Business, Application, Data and Technology architectures (inclusive of Value Chain, Capability & Process mapping, Application Architecture Views, current & future Hadoop Big Data implementation strategies) of the Call Data Centre Technologies (CC Telephony Infrastructure, Client Online Banking, Insurance, Enterprise/Legacy systems, other) within the bank – and with solution design training and implementation support from Hortonworks Data Platform (HDP) specialists. Additionally, worked with application owners to define the future/target capability architecture - to resolve existing business and operational process & technology gaps (and achieve project & application portfolio rationalization across all business entities)- based on the enterprise vision, goals and strategies for standardization, application rationalisation, process optimization, continuous improvement and the implementation of Enterprise Project Portfolio Management (EPPM) and Master Data Management (MDM) strategies, within the Technology & Operations group- and as an interim phase to migrate all desktop and server applications into the cloud.This initiative aligns with RBC’s strategic priorities to be an innovative leader and premier provider of retail, payment and wealth management services in Canada, while improving the client experience by providing an optimum level of (digital) services, to both domestic and international customers.
