ABOUT LEONARD NGUMBAH
Leonard is an experienced International Development and Project Management professional working on large scale developmental projects and programs within international organizations.Currently based in Washington D.C, he works on the World Bank\'s Social Sustainability and Inclusion agenda in West and Central Africa. Prior to this, he supported operations in Energy and Extractives. He was previously based in Yaounde, working on the World Bank\'s project operations in Transport, ICT Urban Development and Water & Sanitation units in Cameroon. He is versed with project design and implementation including the fiduciary and safeguards (Environmental and Social) stakes.Prior to joining the World Bank, he led the Regional Youth Strategy for World Wildlife Fund (WWF) in the Congo Basin (covering 5 countries), crowding in funding from the Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA).Leonard was Chair of the Youth Voices arm of the Youth-to-Youth Association and Field Office Coordinator of the Young African Society at the World Bank. He holds a Master\'s in International Public Policy, a Master\'s in Business Administration and a Bachelor\'s in Economics. He is currently a PhD candidate in Public Policy and Administration at the Trachtenberg School of Public Policy @George Washington University. His research areas of interest are Public Financial Management, Management of State-owned Enterprises, Anti-corruption and Govtech.
