About Leonard Gentile
I am a leaders in the Department of Defense overseeing the development of U.S. Cyber Commands Unified Platform. This capability enables Infrastructure, Data, and Common Services for the Joint Cyber Warfighter Architecture (JCWA); the congressionally mandated central location for all cyber operations across the Department of Defense. In this role I manage software development, short- and long-term budgets, various projects, and enable intelligence and operations management. I support the Department of Defense and government departments and agencies through an all-of-government approach that informs defensive cyber activities of current and pending cyber threats. I establish workforce, financial, and operational programs to ensure Unified Platforms success today, and into the future. I build and lead teams in cross-functional environments, with a diverse set of stakeholders across the federal government to achieve broad reaching solutions. I strive to continue to learn, and use items learned in a meaningful way in my day-to-day duties, translating self-improvement into organizational improvement. In addition, I am the Cyber Operations Support (2210) functional leader for U.S. Air Force Lifecycle Material Commands Cryptologic and Cyber Systems, Cyber Branch.
