I am a psychotherapist and partner at Citron Hennessey Therapy in New York City. My work is grounded in the view that psychotherapy is partly a philosophical discipline: it concerns how people interpret their experiences, the beliefs they hold about themselves and the world, and how those beliefs shape the lives they lead.My clinical perspective draws from Internal Locus of Control modalities, traditions that emphasize the role of beliefs, responsibility, and values in emotional life and human relationships.In addition to my clinical work, I serve as an Adjunct Professor at New York University, where I teach psychotherapy and counseling. At Citron Hennessey Therapy, I am involved in the training and development of clinicians and in building a practice centered on thoughtful, evidence-based psychotherapy.
