About Leonard Chaikind
My name is Leonard Stanley Chaikind and I worked for many, many years starting in 1957 with Shell Oil Company / Royal Dutch Shell and then (when I retired from Shell) as the CEO of Institutional Investors Consulting Company, a \"do good\" consulting company / investment bank. All of this made for a great story and one day, I will probably write a book on all of this. For many reasons, mostly due to my age - I am now 93 - I started making changes and in 2008 closed our office at 2600 South Gessner. At that time, I also reduced our employees to zero. While I worked on some great projects since then (many not for profit), I was not very active. In 2019, I decided to close / shut down Institutional Investors Consulting Company altogether and formed a new company called IICC - basically a \"due good) consulting company with a mission of \"making the world a better place to live.\" Today - 10/7/2024, I am only working on two projects - one, a \"for profit project\" is called HAIL, INC - the other a \"not for profit project\" is called the Brain-Body Research Institute or BBRI for short. I am also thinking about my legacy and decided a few years ago to set up a Foundation called the BW Better World Foundation. My current plan is to get this Foundation up and running during the year 2025.
