Principal Architect - Owner of Technical Vision and Design for Enterprise wide Market Data Strategy. Lead cross functional team of Business, Product, Procurement, and Technology stakeholders to develop and execute on the Vision. High financial impact and a high visibility initiative. Cloud native tech stack. Design and Implementation of a new MicroServices based platform for bank’s services and products. Leading a team of developers as well as doing hands-on development on re-platforming of the Bank’s Custody Service initiative. Stack includes Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Kafka, Apigee, Open Shift, GoLang, Clojure, Java. Led and conducted multiple POC (Proof of concept) trial engagements with external Vendors. Conducting Architectural reviews of the Green Field Development and the BAU Development initiatives across the bank. Led, managed, and provided architectural design in the effort to modernize one of the bank’s backbone entitlement provisioning systems. The project took close to two years to complete and we delivered a smoothly functioning, robust, and scalable entitlement provisioning system that is currently deployed and heavily leveraged across bank. Managed a team of 12 - 15 included developers, BA and QA resources (both on and offshore). Stack included Cloud - WebServices based Java architecture, Oracle 12c, Oracle Golden Gate, MS SQL Service, Sybase. Co-led the design and development of the ‘Resiliency’ Framework - a bank wide initiative to automate the failover process for any application affected by HA of DR scenario. With cloud based Active-Active Java application as a controller for the Database resiliency which is achieved with fully automated, full-time multi directional logical replication using Oracle Golden Gate. Led a team of 8+ development and QA resources (both on and offshore) dedicated to the effort.
