About Leon Groce
Servant Leadership in the area of education and public service is my ministry. I have an unwavering commitment to our children and their educational journey; to ensure that culturally responsive practices, equitable resources, as well as career exploration are immersed in the fabric of instruction. Additionally, I understand that building and sustaining productive community relationships with families, business partners, and post-secondary institutions is critical to the preparation of the student including their roles in the revitalization of the community that we serve. I have twenty plus years of experience in education, with fifteen in administration, but more important as a graduate of MPS, I bring personal testimony to how powerful a public school education is when surrounded by a community of caregivers who place the child first on the agenda.
