In high school, I got my first job working at a restaurant as a Server Attendant aka Busser. Looking to purchase a car, so that I could be with my friends on the weekends and doing all those crazy things kids do. After my first job of bussing tables, I jumped to my first private club experience at the United States Naval Academy Officer\'s Club. My title this time around, buffet attendant, in my eyes a promotion, in the real world, still a server attendant. I was exposed to high ranking officers of the Navy and had a close connection with my dad, I think he was proud of me. I started to like this world of hospitality. Then, a good friend of mine, told me about a great job at a private yacht club. I jumped at the moment to interview, finally the phone rang and I was on my way. This is one of the fun stories about the private club world, that I am lucky to share with all my colleagues.So, in high school, college and my professional career, I am able and proud to say that I work at The Annapolis Yacht Club. In high school, a server attendant. In college, a server, bartender, banquet server and restaurant manager. In my professional career, Food & Beverage Director and currently, Assistant General Manager. My time at The Annapolis Yacht Club has and always be a great story to read and I continue to write everyday. Being able to attain my CCM over the span of 10 years, crisis management of a clubhouse fire, rebuilding and building of three clubhouses, getting my level one Somm from the Master Somm\'s Guild and now Covid-19. At the end of the day, a Club Manager Executive with a driven success mantra, I have a positive big picture business acumen and am fully committed to producing the best member service experience throughout operations with exceeding the standard. I believe our experiences create our excitement for the future.
