ABOUT LEO EDWARD GUBAC

I am passionate about using the power of story telling in marketing to communicate ideas, influence people, and move them to action. I have more than 15 years experience helping organizations communicate to their clients, employees, and stakeholders through integrated marketing and communications campaigns inspired by the art of story telling. I have led and initiated marketing campaigns that increased employee engagement, drove brand awareness and consideration, closed sales opportunities, improved client satisfaction scores and enabled successful change management initiatives. Complementing my marketing skills is my ability to lead, plan, and organize small to very large events. I have directed corporate events such as townhalls, brownbag/training sessions, awards nights, holiday concert parties, retirement parties, executive conferences, fun runs, client workshops, global CEO/leadership visits, university recruitment leadership programs, trade shows, and industry events. Enabling me to achieve all these are my core competencies in copy writing and editing, content planning and ideation, script writing, project management, social and digital media, strategic communication planning, video production, stakeholder management, portal management, newsletter production, and risk management. I am fluent in English and conversant in French, Spanish and Mandarin. I am also proficient in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project, Adobe Photoshop, Pagemaker, and InDesign.
