About Leo Freedman
I am a senior at the University of Washington majoring in International Studies and Ethnomusicology and minoring in Environmental Studies. I am naturally curious and a self-starter, demonstrated by a portfolio that reflects my diverse skillsets, academic interests, and professional aspirations. Notable projects include published research on Greenlandic independence, leading a research task force on urban development in Mumbai, designing an immersive audio experience of campus, and participating in doctoral-level research on music therapy for individuals with memory loss. The quality of my work has been recognized throughout my college career with highly selective scholarships, travel fellowships, and publication opportunities.
