My name is Leobrishk Arambam, CEO and Co-founder of my startup company Mateng Ventures. I took a pause from my undergrad studies to start this company and solve the problem of unemployment in Manipur as well as in the North-East states in India. “Pain creates Passion” and having seen and gone through the trouble of not finding enough jobs in Manipur, myself and my friends, I have a burning desire to make this startup a success.The unemployment rate in Manipur is high, and people are having a hard time getting hired for jobs. I along with many youths in Manipur have the problem of finding a job after graduation so we have to just sit and wait for the government to open up positions. As the Co-Founder and CEO of Mateng, my goal is to solve this problem of unemployment in Manipur as well as Northeastern states in India by building the first Job and service platform in Manipur – Mateng Ventures.Mateng is a platform to connect talented and skilled individuals with employers both commercial and residential who are looking to fill a position. Imagine a one stop shop place where all the organizations in Manipur can list your job openings instead of putting it one time on newspaper or a candidate who can share their skills and talents for employers to view.
