About Leonardo Arcoverde

With 10+ years of experience working across consumer and pharma advertising, I began my career in Brazil working at some of the largest agencies such as Havas, Publicis, and McCann, arriving in New York, to work at Area 23 in 2019. I have been involved with different brands and backgrounds from vehicles (Chevrolet, Toyota, Peugeot, Yamaha Motorcycles), Food (Danone, PepsiCo, Pizza Hut), OTC products (Neutrogena, Tylenol, Nicorette) to pharma (AstraZeneca, Eli Lilly, Invitae, Neurocrine). Recipient of accolades such as D & AD, CLIO, Cannes Lions, LIAs, and The One Show awards and merits with work across healthcare advertising, I was also invited as a jury member on awards festivals, such as the PHNX Awards, The New York Festivals, NYC Photoworks, Pratt Institute Portfolio Day, and Adobe Behance reviews.Outside of work, I am a geek, amateur photographer, comic strip maker, wannabe writer, frustrated guitarist, spearfisherman, and AI enthusiast. Bonus fact: My first college degree was a BSc. in Physiotherapy.
