ABOUT LEO AH KUN
I specialise in solving design and technical challenges by quickly building working prototypes, testing solutions and iterating. I am able to achieve this by using my wide variety of skillsets, from project management, UX design and user research to software architecture, robotics, electronics and machine learning.I currently work at Hitachi\'s European Research & Development as part of the Design Lab, looking at a variety of themes, designing, developing, prototyping and validating new digital solutions and technologies that can solve societal issues. I\'ve previously worked on projects in Healthcare, Transport, Manufacturing, Robotics, Video Intelligence and Biometrics and currently working on projects focusing on Energy Transitions, Futures Thinking and Digital Twins/Metaverse.I have over 12 years of experience working with lean and agile methodologies. I have also previously co-founded a software engineering company that specialises in producing bespoke mobile, web and VR/AR apps. I grew and led a small team in South Africa and Singapore which I ran for 10 years.
